Ingredients
- 300 gr beef sirloin steak
- 4-5 baby corn
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green pepper
- the green part of the spring onion
- a hand full of sugar beans
- some bimi (kind of broccoli)
- some sesame oil and some sunflower oil
- optional: white part of the spring onion, one red instead green pepper, some fresh chilli
for the sauce
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp mirin
- 1 Tsp sambal oelek
- 3 Tbsp sake (rice wine)
- 4-5 Tbsp soja sauce (gluten-free)
- optional: some ginger, garlic and teriyaki sauce
Instruction
- cut the sirloin steak in thin mouth big pieces, put the pieces in a bowl, add all the liquid sauces for the marinade to it, and if you like the fine chopped garlic and ginger as well
- meanwhile wash the vegetables and cut them in mouth big pieces
- heat the wok, add the oil mixture and shortly fry the vegetables, for about 5 minutes
- add the meat with the liquid, fry another few minutes, till the meat is the way you like it
- serve the dish with rice or rice noodles
Suggestion
- if you have a problem with some of the above mentioned vegetables you can replace them with for example carrots, mushrooms, been sprout etc.
- it’s about one part meat to two and half part vegetables
- I put teriyaki optional, as very often the sauce has too much fructose in it, if you don’t have any problem with fodmap go for it, it pimps up the dish
- if you are vegetarian, leave the meat aside, add the whole sauce two minutes before the end
